PUNXSUTAWNEY -- The Punxsy boys basketball team was doomed by an early third-quarter run for the third time this season on Friday, as the visiting Karns City Gremlins turned a 30-28 halftime lead into a 43-32 margin and went on to win 69-54.

Punxsy's Andrew Young was the game's top scorer with 18 points, and Gabe Kengersky added 11 for the Chucks. Punxsy (1-4) is back in action on Saturday afternoon at Warren.
