CLARION -- Punxsy girls basketball senior guard Sarah Weaver needed just one point at Clarion on Saturday to surpass the 1,000-point career benchmark, and with a layup just 53 seconds into the first quarter, Weaver did just that.
After she did so, the game was paused briefly and Weaver was presented with the game ball, which she then presented to her parents.
