PUNXSUTAWNEY — As service dogs become more and more common in our society today, one area where they’ve been very successful is assisting veterans..

Pawsitive for Heroes is a program that provides service dogs to veterans dealing with military-related injuries/illnesses such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, TBI, MST and suicidal thoughts.

All veterans must be medically referred to the program through a medical caregiver at the Veterans Affairs hospital.
