High school baseball donates to pediatric cancer treatment

Punxsutawney Area High School baseball held its cancer awareness game Saturday at Rich Kuntz Memorial field. Former Legion players Zeke Bennett, Dakota Long, Alex Phillips, Ashton Stonbraker, Justin Miller and Isaac London presented Coach Mike Dickey with a $200 check from the Punxsutawney Jr. Legion/VFW Teener League for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, which was the focus of the fundraiser this year. The team wore gold shoelaces, symbolizing the gold cancer ribbon.
