Two more people have died of COVID-19 in Jefferson County, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported Wednesday.

They were the first deaths in roughly two weeks, and bring the county’s toll to 240.

The county currently has a cumulative total of 9,360 cases of the virus, of which 6,190 are confirmed and 3,170 are probable.

Hospitalization numbers in Jefferson County are up, with area facilities currently treating six patients, one of them in the ICU. One ventilator is in use.
