Fun for all ages at the fair

The Jefferson County Fair was still going strong Tuesday. The rides open at 5 p.m. through Friday, and at 1 p.m. Saturday. Pictured is three-year-old Jackson Triponey enjoying a buggy ride. Today is a big day at the fair, as it features a performance by country star Colt Ford at 7:30 p.m. Concert tickets are not included with admission onto the grounds. They are $20 for the pit and $10 for the grandstand. Today will also feature the horse games show at 9 a.m., the dairy show at 10 a.m. and music by the Keep It Downs from 8 to 10 p.m., in addition to the carnival and daily shows, activities and contests.
