The Pennsylvania State Police, in collaboration with Jefferson County District Attorney Jeff Burkett’s office, have arrested Ryan Keith Saline, 32, 10584 Treasure Lake Rd., DuBois, regarding a drug overdose that resulted in the death of a Brookville man on Aug. 30, 2017.
A 911 call by the victim’s sister prompted a state police investigation, as Jefferson County Deputy Corner Carl Abrahamson pronounced the victim deceased as a result of a suspected drug overdose.
Investigation revealed that the victim, Michael Guy Sarvey, 29, allegedly traveled to the actor’s residence in Treasure Lake on the aforementioned date and purchased heroin labeled “ROLEX.” The victim then traveled to his residence along Route 322 in Rose Township, Jefferson County, and ingested the substance, resulting in his death.
An autopsy provided the pathologist’s opinion that the victim died as a result of fentanyl toxicity. After further investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police were able to locate the source of the heroin that caused the overdose death.
Saline has been charged with drug delivery resulting in death, drug possession, two counts of drug delivery, criminal use of a communication facility, involuntary manslaughter and recklessly endangering another person.
