The 25th anniversary of the Light Up A Child's Life campaign came to a successful conclusion late Friday afternoon, having raised a total of $64,616.80 to be used to grant wishes that make life a little brighter for the kids who receive them.

Lindsey Herzing, regional manager for Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, said they raised a lot with their auction — $6,330 — an event that continues to grow.

Herzing noted that lots of people donate time and work to the campaign, and that every bit is appreciated.

She added that the auction total was $6,330, with the grand total of $64,616.80, which equates to 16-and-a-half wishes, bringing to a conclusion this year’s Light Up A Child's Life campaign.
