Jane Olga Milliron Baun, 82

Jane O. Baun, 82, Punxsutawney, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born Oct. 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Alexander and Olga (Anderson) Campbell.

She was first married to John Milliron, Jr., who preceded her in death on July 15, 1976. She then married Elmer Baun, who survives, on Oct. 1, 1981.

Jane was a kind and gentle spirit, a true lady, as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, who loved her family above all else. She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity to everyone.

She was a superb cook and baker and a wonderful homemaker, and had a deep faith in her Lord.

Jane was a double transplant recipient who received an additional 21 years of life, which was a blessing to her family from God above.

She faced her multitude of infirmities with grace and courage and was an example of strength to all who knew her — always grateful, never complaining.

She loved flower gardening, bird watching, laughing and shopping and truly enjoyed life.

Surviving relatives include three daughters, Linda Ranker-Allen and husband Thomas of York, Kathy Bonadio and husband Francis of York, and Jennifer Renne and husband Pete of Punxsutawney; a son Michael Milliron of Punxsutawney; four step-children, Kay Walborn and husband Gary of Falls Creek, John Baun and wife Linda of Allentown, Ken Baun and wife Gina of Overbrook Kansas, and Tom Baun and wife Kathy of Rossiter; six grandchildren, Julie Cielo, Cara Bonadio Casillo, Christina and husband Justin Lee, Tony Bonadio, Father David Renne and Andrew Ranker; a great-grandson, Cory Lee; four step-grandchildren, Mark, Marty, and Curtis Walborn and Shane Baun; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Campbell.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
