Council approves memorial trees, plants at skate park

Punxsutawney Borough Council approved the planting of trees and plants in memory of Josh Smith at the Barletta Skate Park in Punxsutawney at Tuesday's council meeting.

Linda Smith, Josh's mother, requested permission to plant the trees and plants that they received at his services that were held following his death in Ocean City, Maryland, earlier this summer.

Linda said that they would like to plant them around the edges of the grassy field at the Barletta Skate Park, located on Elk Street.
