The Punxsutawney Area Middle School cafeteria was filled with a variety of warm winter attire Friday, as members of AmeriCorps prepared for those who would be stopping in to “shop.” It was all part of the annual Coats for Kids, which was held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Coats for Kids is part of the AmeriCorps project held each year for those in need of winter attire. This is the fourth year for the project. Volunteers will be doing another Coats for Kids in January. Anyone who has donations can drop them off at any of the area schools.
