SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by Canoe Township, 2nd Class, Indiana County at 1670 Canoe Ridge Road, Rossiter, PA 15772 until prior to the start of the regular meeting to be held on Wednesday-April 14, 2021 at 7:00 pm for the following: 1) 1,500 tons AASHTO #8 Limestone (1B) 2) 1,500 tons 2A Limestone 3) 750 tons AASHTO #57 Limestone (2B) 4) 500 tons AS2 Anti-skid Limestone 5) 500 tons AASHTO #67 Limestone (#2) 6) 300 tons #3 Limestone 7) 50 tons #4 Limestone 8) 50 tons #5 Limestone 9) 50 tons #7 Limestone 10) 10,000 gallons MC-70 Dust Oil 11) 15,000 gallons CRS-2 Road Oil (E-3) All quantities are more or less. Oil shall be applied to various roads as directed. Stone prices shall include delivery. All materials shall be delivered or applied within 10 business days of ordering. Weigh slips, etc. must be furnished upon delivery of stone and oil. All materials must meet PENNDOT specs. Successful bidder(s) must supply PENNDOT form CS-4171 Certificate of Compliance for each type, per each day. Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to the municipality. Bid packet can be obtained by contacting the secretary @ 814-952-2194 or 814-938-8203. All proposals must be upon forms furnished by the municipality and envelopes marked accordingly. Liquid damages apply. Successful bidder(s) must provide a 50% performance bond, cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit within 20 days of awarding of bid. The supervisors reserve the right to award bids on a per item basis and to accept or reject any or all proposals in the best interest of the township. Sealed bids will be opened at a regular meeting on Wednesday-April 14, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the township office located at 1670 Canoe Ridge Road, Rossiter, PA 15772 Georgia Lou Riddle Secretary
