INVITATION TO BIDDERS The Jefferson County Commissioners request bids for a new Office Fit-Out on the first floor at Jefferson Place, Brookville, PA consisting of approximately 8,600 sf. Work includes miscellaneous demolition, gypsum board assemblies, Doors and hardware, countertops, carpeting, ceilings, painting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical construction. Bids will be awarded for General, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Construction. BID DATE: The Jefferson County Commissioners will receive sealed bids until 1:00 PM., local prevailing time on June 18, 2021 at the Jefferson County Chief Clerk's office, 155 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly, and Owner will give results upon notification of award to the successful Contractor. Bids shall remain in effect for 60 days following the bid opening. BIDDING DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents, including Drawings and Project Manual will be on file at the office of the Architect, KTH Architects, 1741 Kiwanis Trail, DuBois, PA 15801. Contract Documents may be obtained by emailing dmaines@ktharch.com. No partial sets will be issued. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Architect as having obtained the Contract Documents. Contract Documents are also on file for review at the following locations: Altoona Builders' Exchange, Pennsylvania Builders' Exchange, Mid Atlantic BX, and McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge. BID GUARANTY: A Bid Guaranty in the form of a Surety Company's Bid Bond shall be submitted with the Proposal in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Amount. QUESTIONS: Inquiries, requests for information and requests for clarifications should be directed in writing to the Architect at dmaines@ktharch.com - No questions will receive a response if they are submitted later than seven (7) days prior to the bid date. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT to postpone or cancel receipt of bids, and to accept or to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part if the best interest of the Owner will be served thereby. No bid shall be permitted to be waived nor returned because the Bidder has failed to, or cannot, comply with requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable legal statutes.
