Work to begin Monday on Route 3011 (Knoxdale Road) railroad overpass removal in Jefferson Co.

KNOX TOWNSHIP — PennDOT District 10 is advising motorists that the railroad overpass on Route 3011 (Knoxdale Road) in Knox Township will be removed.

Work includes removing the exiting overpass carrying the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad over Route 3011 between T-405 (Bellport Road) and T-841 (Ramseytown Road).

Beginning, Monday, March 18, at 7 a.m., Route 3011 will closed to traffic and a posted detour will be in place.

The detour will use T-841 and T-405.

This $69,444 railroad overpass removal will be constructed by M and B Services, LLC., of Clarion, and is expected to be completed in early April.
