William D. Campbell, 59

William D. Campbell, 59, Punxsutawney, died Sunday, March 4, 2012.

He was born Oct. 20, 1952, in Sewickley, a son of the late William George and Audrey Grace (Uncapher) Campbell.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, tinkering around, spending time with his family and being a practical joker.

Mr. Campbell was a former member of the ISDA and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Surviving relatives include a son, Wesley Campbell of Punxsutawney; a step-son, Michael Coleman of Clarion; three daughters, Malinda Campbell of Huntingdon, Missy Peffer and husband Scott of Big Run, and Victoria Campbell of Shamokin; seven grandchildren; six brothers, Wayne Uncapher of Woodland, Rodger Campbell and wife Joy of Punxsutawney, Michael Campbell of Maryland, Terry Campbell and wife Cheryl of Raleigh, N.C., Carl Campbell and wife Niki of Punxsutawney, and Jeff Campbell of Valier; and three sisters, Patsy Juart of Rochester Mills, Wanda Painter of Reynoldsville, and Debbie Jefferson of Valier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his ex-wife Karen (Pounds) Campbell; and a grandson, Chase Campbell.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Shumaker Funeral Home Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Paul Thompson.
