William "Bill" A. Condron, 66

William A. Condron, 66, of Big Run, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at VA Medical Center in Oakland.

Mr. Condron was born Feb. 10, 1946, in Echo, a son of the late Regis Condron and Luella (Neville) Condron.

March 3, 1967, he married his loving wife, Bernice A. (Mauk) Condron, who survives, of Big Run.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the CMA Church in Punxsutawney, where he coached youth basketball.

He was also a member of the VFW, American Legion and the NRA.

In addition to his wife, Bernice, surviving relatives include two sons, Troy D. Condron and fiancee' Bobbie of Ellwood City and Eric R. Condron and wife Sandy of Rochester Mills; two brothers, the Rev. James A. Condron of Duquesne and Larry P. Condron and wife Hyereon of Henderson, Nev.; two sisters, Betty Lou Bish and husband Robert of Youngstown, Ohio, and Naomi Schreckengost of Punxsutawney; six grandchildren, Trista Ott and husband Eric, Tim Schreckengost, Chasity Schreckengost, Zack Condron, Katrina Heasley and Abby Condron; and a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Schreckengost.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Benson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at the CMA Church in Punxsutawney with Pastor John Buchmann officiating.

Private interment will follow at North Point Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Condron's name to the CMA Youth Basketball Association.
