The students at West End Elementary School recently made a donation of $600 to the Punxsutawney Area Community Center (PACC) Digital Projector fund.

The money was raised by the students as part of their Give Back to the Community program.

Pictured (from left) are Kairi Pratt, Kinsee Barnett, Piper Petroff, Charlee Meko, Dan McIntire and Makayla Laird, West End students, with Rob McCoy, PACC executive director.

The students are working to make a difference in the community and are basing it on this quote by the late Judy Garland: “Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.”
