On Friday, Verizon presented a check for $5,000 to the Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center (PWDC) as part of the 2013 Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program.

Through the recommendation of Pennsylvania State Rep. Sam Smith, Verizon is proud to partner with PWDC to support programs that empower young people with lifelong learning skills.
