Wanda Marion Carlson, 90, Rossiter, died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Wellington Heights, Punxsutawney.

She was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Pittsfield, Mass., a daughter of the late Walter and Agnes ( Mokrzycka) Robak.

She was married to Kenneth C. Carlson, who preceded her in death April 24, 1989.

She enjoyed living on the family farm, tending to her flowers, watching pets and other nature, and loved her family most of all.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Kenneth (Bud) Carlson and wife Diana and Carl (Butch) Carlson, all of Rossiter; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Robak of Pittsfield.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Wanda Stiver and Katherine Black; and two brothers, John Robak and Julian Robak.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Flick officiating.

Interment will be at Pine Cemetery, Rossiter.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions, in Mrs. Carlson’s memory, be made to: Asera Care Hospice, 231 Allegheny Blvd., Suite B, Brookville, Pa. 15825.
