Wanda M. DeLancey, 49, DuBois, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Aug. 21, 1962, in DuBois, a daughter of Daniel A. and Ida (Williams) Zurenda, who survive, of Punxsutawney.

May 24, 1993, she married Gordon L. DeLancey, who survives.

Mrs. DeLancey worked at ELCAM in DuBois for the past 11 years.

She loved to garden and belonged to the Garden Club of America.

In addition to her parents and husband, surviving relatives include a son, Christopher DeLancey of DuBois; three step-sons, Gordon DeLancey, II of Savannah, Ga., Johnathan DeLancey of Rochester, N.Y., and Kenneth DeLancey of DuBois; three brothers, Dan Zurenda of Punxsutawney, Richard Zurenda of Shelby, N.C., and Douglas Zurenda of Punxsutawney; seven sisters, Mary Sue Zurenda, April Zurenda, Halona Zurenda and Dana Brooks of Punxsutawney, Cheryl Battaglia of Reynoldsville, Sharon Wright of Glen Campbell and Anita Zurenda of Brookville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Elizabeth DeLancey.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois with Pastor Kenneth Eddy officiating.

Memorials may be placed with the Punxsutawney Area Cancer Care Fund, 81 Hillcrest Dr., Punxsutawney, Pa. 15767.
