Vivian Claire Wright, 83, Glen Campbell, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born April 11, 1927, a daughter of the late Edward and Alda (Stewart) Goss.

She was married to Gerald Wright, who preceded her in death March 14, 1997.

Mrs. Wright was the owner of Wright's Personal Care Home in Glen Campbell, and she was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Rossiter Fire Company.

Surviving relatives include three sons, Ricky Wright and Robert Wright, both of Rossiter, and Randy Wright of Glen Campbell; three brothers, Ernie Goss of Ohio, Paul Goss of Arcadia, and Cecil Goss of Ohio; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four children, Gerald Wright Jr., Cathy Pearce, Donald Wright and Ronald Wright.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Timothy Bowser officiating.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
