Violet B. Wolfe, 81, of Brookville, formerly of New Brighton, Ct., passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Brookville Hospital.

Mrs. Wolfe was born June 20, 1932, in Altona, New York, the daughter of the late Frank Hill and Cathleen (Coolidge) Hill.

Violet is survived by her husband, Willis, of Brookville.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother,

Voilet loved keeping a beautiful home and being close to her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Willis, she is survived by three sons, Carl Chu and wife Roberta of New Brighton, Ct., Mark Chu and wife Susan of Middletown, Ct., and Jeffrey Chu of Connecticut; four step-daughters, Barbara Lerch and husband Ron of Clarion, Roberta Fetterman and husband Arnold of Punxsutawney, Cheryl Myers and husband Bill and Shelly Juart and husband Tim, all of Smicksburg; five great-grandchildren, April Beaman and husband Mitchell, Carl J. Chu, Jr., Brian Chu, Mark Chu Jr. and Nicholas Chu; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a step-son, Gary Wolfe, and a step-daughter, Cindy Wolfe.

At the family's request, there will be no viewing.
