Today is election day, and though it lacks the excitement of last year's presidential election, the ballot is full of many local and county races. PUNXSUTAWNEY — Today's general election may not have all the excitement of last year's presidential election, but it does include a large number of local races that will go a long way in determining policy on many borough councils, township supervisor boards and board of school directors.
Also, a number of Jefferson County row officers will learn if they continue work in their respective posts.
Polls in Jefferson County are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. A complete list of voting precinct locations appears in today's Spirit.
