REYNOLDSVILLE — DuBois-based Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the disappearance of an Amish girl who apparently left a residence with an Indiana County man listed as a sex offender on the state Megan's Law Web site. Police said Sarah D. Troyer, 16, Brewer Lane, Reynoldsville, was reported as a runaway at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Police said around 8 p.m. April 5, Troyer and her brother, David C. Troyer, 18, — who are both Amish — and Noah M. Troyer, no age given, left the residence of Fred Allen Dilts, Entry Road, Aultman, Indiana County.

Dilts' vehicle is a black 2004 Hyundai Elantra sedan, PA registration FSB1954, police said.

Police said April 6, Noah Yoder returned, but Sarah Troyer remained with Dilts. Both Troyers were reportedly seen in the Clintonville area April 11.

She is described as 5 feet tall, 90 pounds, with long brown, straight hair and brown eyes. She is possibly wearing more mainstream clothing as opposed to her traditional Amish clothing, police said.

Police have no age for Dilts, but the Megan's Law Web site said he was born in 1956, which would make him around 52 or 53 years old.

He is described as white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing about 195 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair.

The site said Dilts has a tattoo that reads "Tiger" on his right arm, and another on his left arm that reads "Born to Win."

Dilts was convicted of rape in June 1987, the Web site said.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact PSP-DuBois at 814-371-4652.
