DUBOIS — More than a year after a Sykesville woman went missing after her house burned to the ground, her story is coming to "America's Most Wanted."
DuBois-Pennsylvania State Police reported Wednesday that the program will feature highlights of the search for Joey Lynn Offutt, who has been missing since the July 12, 2007, fire along Dr. Fugate Drive in Sykesville.
The episode will air at 9 p.m. Saturday on FOX.
Police said the 4 a.m. fire consumed a large portion of the residence, and investigators found the remains of an infant child in the debris. DNA testing on the remains confirmed that the infant was Offutt's son, Alexis Alfred Brolin III.
The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit also concluded that the fire was set intentionally.
About four days after the fire, Offutt's red 1994 Saturn coupe with Virginia registration JXN8871 was located along Waupelani Drive in State College, but Offutt was not found near that location.
Police said their investigation continues, and they still seek help from the public.
Offutt, 33, is described as a white female, 5 foot, 3 inches tall, thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She has officially been declared a missing person and has been entered into the national crime information center data as such.
