BROOKVILLE — The days of the 1960s when women burned their bras are apparently back — sort of.
Brookville Borough Police reported that over the course of a four-month investigation, it was determined that Derrick Shafferman, 38, Knox Dale, was removing women's underwear and bras from washers and dryers at the Creek Street Laundromat.

Police said Shafferman — who told officers that he burned the clothing shortly after he arrived home with it — is being charged with seven counts of theft and seven counts of harassment.

Anyone who had clothing taken from a washer or dryer at the Creek Street Laundromat between April 28 and July should contact Brookville Borough Police at 849-5323.
