Velma L. Hollenbaugh, 86, DuBois, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at DuBois Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 6, 1926, in McCalmont Township, a daughter of the late John W. and Edith L. (Uplinger) Hollenbaugh.

Miss Hollenbaugh was a homemaker and member of the Bollinger Bible Church in Reynoldsville, where she was the former organist and pianist. She also enjoyed gardening.

Surviving relatives include three nieces and a nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Mabel E. Douthit, Salome E. Douthit, Erma B. Manners, Ethel M. Hollenbaugh and Annie L. Hollenbaugh; two infant sisters; a brother, John W. Hollenbaugh Jr.; and an infant brother.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. George Stratton officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
