Update: Punxsy man killed in Route 119 accident

HENDERSON TOWNSHIP — On Wednesday, DuBois-based Pennsylvania State Police reported a fatal accident that occurred just after midnight on Route 119 between Route 410 and Pike Road in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

Police said that at 12:17 a.m. on Wednesday, two vehicles were involved in an accident that occurred on Route 119 between Route 410 and Pike Road in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

The report said that Bradley Greenlee, 30, of Punxsutawney, was a passenger in one of the vehicles, driven by 35-year-old Michael Brown of Punxsutawney. Greenlee was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the incident and was flown to UPMC Altoona, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Brown and the operator of the other vehicle, 24-year-old Amber Hemphill of Punxsutawney, were both injured as a result of the crash.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call PSP-DuBois at 371-4652.
