Two vehicles collide along Route 119, 436 intersection

YOUNG TOWNSHIP — No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Route 119 and Route 436, Young Township.

One of the vehicles involved in the accident, a Dodge Neon, appeared to have sustained disabling damage, and a Jeep Wrangler sustained front-end damage in the crash. Both were towed from the scene by Rebuck's South Side Service.

No further details regarding the accident were available at Spirit press time.

Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police were on scene and investigating the accident.

Police were assisted at the scene by Jefferson County EMS and the Lindsey Fire Company.
