Twila M. Enterline, 95

Twila M. Enterline, 95, Punxsutawney, formerly of Mahoning Towers, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born April 16, 1916, in Grange, a daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Doverspike) Smith.

She was married to Kenneth W. Hinderliter and then Samuel P. Enterline, both of whom preceded her in death.

Mrs. Enterline was a housekeeper at Blose-McGregor Health Care in Punxsutawney.

She was a member of the Woodland Avenue United Methodist Church in Punxsutawney.

Surviving relatives include a son, Kenneth J. Hinderliter and wife Pat of Frostburg; a daughter, Maxine E. Bish of Punxsutawney; two sisters, Leona Evangeline Best of Knox, and Alice McQuown of Punxsutawney; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard D. Hinderliter; three sisters, Mary Smith, Maude Whitesell and Alda Maloof; four brothers, Maurice Smith, Levi Smith, Robert Smith and Joseph Smith; and a granddaughter, Peggy Maxwell.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Johnny L. Pennington officiating.

Interment will be at the Worthville Cemetery, Worthville.
