Trevor Lee Stiner, 36

Trevor Lee Stiner, 36, of Dormont, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at home.
He was born Aug. 9, 1976, in York, Pa., the son of Charlotte Ann (Harrison) Hollopeter and husband Keith of Big Run, and Dennis Lee Stiner.

He was a 1994 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. He earned an associate’s degree in CAD from Triangle Tech.

Trevor liked to help his mother and Keith with landscaping and yard work. He built a beautiful patio area for their enjoyment.

He loved his family and children.

His hobbies included golf and playing a good game of poker.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two
children, Christopher Stiner of Rossiter and Kylie Olson of Tionesta; one brother, Ross Hollopeter of Long Island, N.Y.; his maternal grandmother, Juda Rohde of Corning, N.Y.; and his paternal grandfather, Sherman Hollopeter of Big Run.

Stiner was preceded in death by his brother, Justin Stiner; his maternal grandfather, Edward Rohde; and his paternal grandmother, June Hollopeter.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at St. Phillips United Methodist Church in Big Run, officiated by Pastor Dawn Krishart.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brenda D. Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.

Memorial donations may be made in Trevor's memory to Walking Through Grief, (a local support group started by Adam Travis' mother, Chris Gigliotti, who also lost her son.
