Travis J. Hemm, 20, Mayport, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born June 20, 1990, in Meriden, Conn., the son of Joseph and Doreen (Lyman) Hemm.

He was employed by Rosebud Mining.

In addition to his parents, surviving relatives include a sister, Danielle Lyman of Mayport; a brother, Jarrod Hemm of Punxsutawney; his maternal grandmother, Gail Lyman of Mayport; and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Josephine Hemm of Tucson, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Lyman.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011, at the Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn.

A private graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the North Freedom Cemetery in Ringgold Township.
