Toys for Tots kicks off holiday campaign

It was a cold, snowy day in the town of Punxsutawney, but up at FEMCO's beautiful Gingerbread House, the holiday spirit was easy to find. Inside the house could be found all the wrapped toys that have already been donated — toys that will bring smiles to the faces of children in need. For Marine Doug Fricker, this is his eighth Toys for Tots event. Teaming up with Janeen Love, who is the Senior Corps RSVP Director at Community Action, they will gather and distribute the toys. Some examples of the toys they would like to receive are board games, dolls, action figures and even bicycles. Anyone wishing to donate may bring an unwrapped toy to any of the locations throughout the area including the Gingerbread House. Pictured in front of the Gingerbread House are (front, from left) Tristan Pratt as junior snowman, Kair Pratt; (back) Fricker, Kambrea Pratt as Christmas tree, Thom Pratt as snowman, Marshall Richardson as the Gingerbread Man and Janeen Love, Community Action, Senior Corps, RSVP Director.
