Three die in Indiana fire

INDIANA — Three Indiana residents died following a mobile home fire that broke out early Sunday morning at 105 Keystone Dr., according to Indiana County Coroner Jerry L. Overman Jr.

Shawn Marsh, 28, Nicole Novak, 27, and Gabbriella Novak, 9, all lived in the Indiana mobile home and all perished in the fire, according to a release issued by Overman.

The coroner pronounced the victims dead at the scene at 5:08 a.m. Sunday.

The cause and manner of death for all three are pending autopsies, which are scheduled for today at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.

All three victims were found in the rear bedroom, along with two family dogs.

The incident was first called in to Indiana County 911 at 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to Overman, the fire was fully involved with entrapment.

Firefighters from Indiana, Homer City, Clymer and Coral-Graceton responded to the scene, along with the Indiana County RIG Team.

Personnel from Citizens Ambulance Service were on standby at the scene.

The Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
