Thomas Edgar Davidson, 76, Midland, Va., died April 12, 2011, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.

He was born July 19, 1934, in Mahaffey, a son of the late Eugene E. and Anna Marie (Murray) Davidson.

He was married to Louise Davidson, who preceded her in death.
Mr. Davidson served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after three years of service.

He retired as a forest warden with the Virginia Department of Forestry after 30 years of service and was a charter member of the Catlett Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving relatives include two children, Sharon Jenkins of Orlean, Va., and Andrew Davidson of Manassas, Va.; two brothers, Alan Davidson of Olive Branch, Miss., and Glenn Davidson, Freeport; three grandchildren, April Swain, and Erica and Aaron Davidson; and four great-grandchildren, Dylan Wallace, Ryleigh and Benton Swain and Maddox Davidson.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Davidson.

A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, Va., with the Rev. Warren Copeland officiating.

Interment was at Catlett Cemetery.
