The couple had built their home just south of Brookville, off Route 36.

Cooking and baking were just two of her talents. She was proud spending time in her yard and growing tomatoes and zucchini. Making and giving away crochet-covered sugar balloon eggs were an Easter tradition.

Mrs. Barnett always had a contagious smile and a wonderful laugh, which made others feel good about life. She was very sweet, kind, thoughtful and giving to others. She enjoyed life and being with people.

Surviving relatives include a sister, Alma Steward of Clearfield; two sisters-in-law, Lois Carrier and Larue Barnett, both of Brookville; as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and best friends Ray/Gail and Brent Puller.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings Harold and Luella.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012, at the McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Stanton United Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Howard officiating.
Interment will be at St. John's (Windy Hill) Cemetery.

Mrs. Barnett requested that memorials be made to the Clint Puller Memorial Scholarship Fund, 1600 Maplevale Rd., Brookville, Pa., 15825.
