Terrance Lynn Hodgson, 72

Terrance Lynn Hodgson, 72, of Punxsutawney, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at home.

He was born March 21, 1941, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Ralph and Edith (Wood) Hodgson Fye.

On March 21, 1964, he married the former Marcella Raye McAdoo. She survives.

Terry previously worked for P&N Coal, and Valier Coal Yard, as a parts man.

He enjoyed spending his time at Walker's Service Station.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Terri Milliron and friend Roger of DuBois and Michelle Whitesell and husband Brian of Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Brandon Teague and Karlie Whitesell; 10 siblings, Jim Hodgson and wife Kitty of Akron, Ohio, Blaze Hodgson and wife Melissa, David Fye and wife Louise, Rick Fye and wife Zana, Joe Fye and wife Paula, Martha Villella and husband Vinnie and Beverly, Barbara and Brenda Fye, all of Punxsutawney, and Bernice Wright and husband Jerry of Summerville; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Gaston and husband David of Punxsutawney and Kay Thompson of Knox, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Stello.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Paul Thompson.
