Stanley Richard Clawson, 70

Stanley Richard Clawson, 70, Indiana, died Monday Sept. 10, 2012, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 23, 1942, in Vandergrift, Pa., a son of William and Frances (Wyant) Clawson.

Mr. Clawson was self-employed as a shoe repairman. He opened his first shop in Kittanning and then expanded to locations in Punxsutawney and DuBois.

In his free time, he enjoyed hunting.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Jayne (Cuddy) Clawson, whom he wed Jan. 16, 1971; a son, David and wife Anna of Indiana; a brother, James of Walkchalk, Pa; and five grandchildren, Airianna Clawson, Xander Bowers, AndryaSkye Bowers, and Brooke and Edan Clawson, all of Indiana.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Norma.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, and from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday in the Lefdahl Chapel with the Rev. Micah McMillen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Four Footed Friends.
