Earlier this year, St. Joseph's Polish Society held its third annual golf tournament at Hemlock View Golf Course.

Fourteen teams consisting of four players each took part this year for a total of 56 participants.

All participants were invited back to the club for dinner after a great day of golfing. Many prizes were awarded to participants.

Several local businesses donated prizes or contributed to the overall total that was collected to donate to the Gateway Humane Society, the organization chosen by the club's board of directors.

The total proceeds from the golf tournament equaled $2,448.42.

The board of directors elected to match those proceeds to bring the grand total donated to Gateway Humane Society to $4,976.84.
