Members of the 4th-grade class at Ss. Cosmas & Damian School toured Spirit Publishing Co.’s facility Tuesday afternoon to get a feel for the daily operation of a paper and what goes into making a newspaper in hopes of bringing back the school newspaper, which has been out of print as of late.

Students — pictured here in front of the printing press with Tracy Smith (back, left), Spirit publisher, and Zak Lantz (back, right), Spirit editor — asked questions, some of which they had prepared in advance, of the staff members as the first step of putting together their own edition.
