The SS.C.D. School's children's choir performed for the residents of Mulberry Square in Punxsutawney live on WPXZ radio during the Make-A-Wish Light Up A Child's Life campaign Wednesday. Jessica Newcome, SS.C.D. principal, said the students have held five separate fundraisers for Make-A-Wish "dress down" days which included: Pajama day, sports team day, camouflage day for hunting season and crazy hat day. She said the students also held "penny war days" which was won by the sixth graders, who will receive a pizza party as their reward.
