Sheriff’s sale of Pantall Hotel pushed to early next year

November 13, 2013

BROOKVILLE — The sheriff's sale scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Sheriff's office for the Pantall Hotel in Punxsutawney has been postponed again.

Tracy Anderson, real estate deputy, said the mortgage company has once again postponed the sale — this time pushing it to 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, at the sheriff's office.

The original sale date was scheduled to be Sept. 6.

Jefferson County Sheriff Carl Gotwald, Sr., said back in August that the total amount due, including back taxes, was $839,550.13.
