Sharon L. Haag, 54, Brookville, died, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at home.

She was born Nov. 1, 1956, in Erie, a daughter of the late Stanley Edward and Avis Irene (Hosbach) Klepfer.

Aug. 27, 1977, in Brookville, she married David E. Haag, who survives.
Mrs. Haag worked as an RN at Brookville Hospital in the OB Department and most recently at the Nurse Family Partnership.

She was a member of the Center Hill Community Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and AWANA Leader. She enjoyed teaching Bible studies and previously taught pre-natal classes at Brookville Hospital.

Mrs. Haag was also a board member of AAA Life Services in Clarion, and mentored home-school families and loved playing games with her friends and family.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include two daughters, Amy L. Haag and Amanda Jo Haag, both of Brookville; a son, Adam D. Haag and fiance Heather Grosso of Brookville; three sisters, Katie Chamberlin and husband Jack of Brookville, Marji Skidmore and husband Richard of Edinboro, and Janet Preston and husband Mike of Cranesville.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday Sept. 9, 2011, at the Center Hill Community Church, Knox Dale.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at the church with Pastor Guy Felmlee officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville.
