Severe weather comes on fast, forces local crews into action

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, dark clouds started rolling in and a scanner call was issued warning Jefferson County residents of a tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warning in effect for the next few hours across the area.
