With the Groundhog Festival just a few weeks away, Friends of the Punxsutawney Memorial Library are already getting ready for their used book sale, which will take place in the banquet room of the Punxsutawney Eagles.

The event will be held from 10 a.m to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, and Wednesday, July 2.

Members of the Friends of the Library will be able to shop from 9 to 10 a.m. on July 1.

Books lovers will be able to find a variety of books, such as best-sellers, historical novels, nonfiction and children’s books.

There will also be DVDs and puzzles.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support library projects.

Right now, the group is in desperate need of used books, puzzles and DVDs and asks that anyone wishing to help out by donating may do so by dropping the books off at the drop-off site at the library.
