Sandy Rae Frampton, 49

Sandy Rae Frampton, 49, of Johnstown, formerly of Reynoldsville, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at home in Reynoldsville with her family.

She was born Aug. 5, 1961, in Barberton, Ohio, a daughter of John Elroy and Laudrea Catherine (Brewer) Frampton, who survive, of Reynoldsville.

Ms. Frampton was a 1980 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. Following graduation, she attended Penn State-DuBois. 

She worked as a profusion technician at Specialty Care Open Heart division of Connemaugh Hospital.

Ms. Frampton enjoyed gardening, crafting and her cats, Karmel and Pepper Jack. She was very active in Westmont United Methodist Church in Johnstown and was a member of TOPS No. 1311 in Johnstown.

In addition to her parents, surviving relatives include by her maternal grandmother, Janina Brewer of Desire; four sisters, Jackie Lynn Frampton, who is her twin sister, and fiancé Tim Walls, Joan Bianco and fiancé Lee Krull of Clarion, Deborah Alabran and Dave Blair of Punxsutawney, and Janina Fuller of Reynoldsville; a brother, John A. Frampton of Exton; six nieces, Lakyn, Lauren and Alexis Bianco, who is her godchild, Haley D. Steinberg, Catherine Fuller and Emma Frampton; and a nephew, Charles Fuller.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Violet Frampton; and her maternal grandfather, Raymond Brewer.

Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church with Pastors Dayton Mix and Leo Cramer officiating.

Interment will be in Ridgmont Cemetery, Bell Township.
