Sally Anne (Getch) Breth, 81, of Punxsutawney, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Brookville, the daughter of the late Griffith Schreckengost and Mary Getch.

She was married to Duane Eugene Breth, who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2007.

She was a probation officer for Jefferson County Child Welfare/Adult Probation.

She loved working crossword puzzles and crocheting and had an extensive collection of angels.

She was also an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Jessie Ann Carrick of Punxsutawney and Mary Lynne Carrick and fiance, Jeff Lafever of Fredericktown, Ohio; two sons, Eugene Carrick of Punxsutawney and Charles Carrick of Los Angeles, Calif.; and her special friends, Joanne Polito, Leon Brown, Vicki Fearnow, Mark Davis and Billy Davis.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, Julie Ann Plotner, Michael Carrick, David D. Carrick, Denny Young, Ryan Donnalley and Lisa Shutler; and four great-grandchildren, Raymond Phillips, Mollee Ann Plotner, Gavin Carrick and Landon Carrick.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, with the Rev. Lloyd Getch officiating.
