Ruth A. Kunselman, 85

Ruth A. Kunselman, 85, Reynoldsville, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Punxsutawney.

She was born March 13, 1925, in Winslow Township, a daughter of the late Eugene W. and Esther A. (Strouse) Sprague.

Sept. 5, 1947, she married Harry F. Kunselman, who survives, of Reynoldsville.

Mrs. Kunselman graduated from the Reynoldsville High School Class of 1943, and was a retired employee of Sylvania and Cameron Manufacturing.

She was a homemaker and beloved mother.

Mrs. Kunselman was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Reynoldsville.

She was a member of the Altar Guild of the church and the Welcome Wagon Hostess of Reynoldsville.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include a son, Harry E. Kunselman and wife Heidi of Reynoldsville; two daughters, Laurie Sliwinski and husband Thomas of Reynoldsville and Cheryl LaBue and husband Brad of DuBois; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Ralph Sprague and wife Grace of Reynoldsville, Richard Sprague and wife Shirley of DuBois, Royce Sprague and wife Charlotte of Reynoldsville and Robert Sprague and wife Linda of Reynoldsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Raymond and Ronald Sprague; and a sister, Ruby I. Smith.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Timothy Spence officiating.

Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 329 Jackson St., Reynoldsville, Pa., 15851.
