Tom Chelgren, auction chair, said the rotary raised close to $40,000 during this year's auction.

Chelgren thanked the community and all of the merchants and people who donated items to this year's auction which helped to make it a success. The event was held at BFG Manufacturing in the Punxsutawney Industrial Park.
