PUNXSUTAWNEY — It's Rotary Auction time in Punxsutawney, and once again, the public will have the chance to bid on a large variety of items beginning at 9:05 a.m. Saturday live on WPXZ 104.1 FM from BFG Manufacturing Services in the Punxsutawney Industrial Park.

"The auction has been a tradition in excess of 40 years and was the original idea of a great Punxsutawney Rotatrian, Charlie Ehrhardt, who owned WPME (WPXZ) Radio at the time and came up with a fun day of raising money for the community," said Tom Chelgren of the Punxsutawney Rotary Club.

The number to call to bid beginning at 9:05 a.m. Saturday is 938-9164.

To become a frequent bidder, send an email to www.punxsyrotary.com.
